Lush Haul Christmas 2017 | Blogmas Day 17
During the cold, wintry season, are you like me and want to keep warm, stay cosy and get festive?
I like to treat myself to Lush products this time of year because they are great at capturing the sweet nostalgic smells of Christmas in the form of a bath bomb, bubble bar or body lotion! Also being covered in glitter gives me all the festive feels! So here’s what I recently bought in my Lush haul…
I thought I’d get this Christmas Eve bubble bar to enjoy a nice warm bath before settling down with the family in my PJs to watch a Christmas movie together. This bubble bar uses ylang ylang oil and the beautiful floral scent of Jasmine.
The Butterbear bath bomb is like a big, warm, cosy bear hug! It has scents of chocolate, vanilla and ylang ylang so I feel it will like it will leave your skin feeling extra soft and smooth.
This Shoot for the stars bathbomb has more of a citrus scent and is very refreshing but also sweetened with conditioning honey and cocoa butter. I just love the gold glittering stars!
The Golden wonder bath bomb is another fruity gift! I can’t wait to try this one as there are other specs of colours peeking through, this present may have some surprises!
I adore this Candy Mountain bubble melt! It’s sweet vanilla scent is enough to give me my entire Christmas sugar-high!
The scent of this Christmas cracker bubble bar reminds of a Refresher sweet! It has an amazing citrus smell and looks like it will make the bath a fun colour too!
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth! If you’re familiar with this festive song, then this bath bomb may also bring a big gappy smile to your face. When I was a kid, I actually lost both my two front teeth around Christmas time. I was asking Santa and the tooth fairy to visit me after I lost my second front tooth on Christmas Eve! This bubble bar has scents of soothing lavender and vanilla.
Snow Angel I think I’ll be glittery for days when I use this Snow Angel bath melt. It smells of cocoa but also has a slight floral scent. According to Lush’s website, this bath melt also forms a layer of bubbly ‘snow’ so I can’t wait to try it!
This Snow Fairy gift box has so many sweet-smelling favourites of mine!
The Snow fairy shower gel is my Christmas classic scent of candyfloss and bubblegum, plus it leaves my skin all sparkly too!
The magic of Christmas is still very exciting to me so I thought I could sprinkle a little fairy dust into my bath with this Magic Wand bubble bar. It smells as sweet as candy, much like the Snow Fairy scent and is also re-usable! All you need to do is hold the wand under the running tap and let the enchanting bubbles form!
I’ve not tried the Snow Fairy body lotion before but if it makes the candy smell last longer, I’m all for using it!
The Snow Fairy jelly bath bomb smells and looks sweet enough to eat (but please don’t)! I’m very excited to bathe in its candy-pink water and enjoy the scents of bubble gum and candy floss.
