Disneyland Paris Christmas 2017 Day 3 Blogmas Day 18

Happy Monday everyone! It’s one week until Christmas!! I have such a busy week ahead, but I’m trying so so hard to make sure I still upload a blog post each day for Blogmas. So far so good! I’m also aiming to get my next batch of Disneyland Paris vlogs edited and uploaded this week too! But for the meanwhile here’s what I got up to on Day 3 of my trip in blog-form!

My boyfriend and I used our halfboard meal vouchers towards breakfast at the Hunter’s Grill restaurant in the Sequoia Lodge hotel. We ended up paying an extra 7 euros each for this and it meant we could really fill up on hot food before heading out in the cold!

We headed to the Walt Disney Studios park to finish up some of the rides we still wanted to go on. We did try to get on the Ratatouille ride but it sadly broke down! So instead we headed to Aladdin’s magic carpet flight.

Next we headed over to the Disneyland Park to meet Marie from the Aristocats! She was very excited to see I was wearing a Marie jumper and coin purse and we got some super cute photos together!

We then met Scrooge McDuck who was very proud to spell his name as $crooge in my autograph book!

We tried to watch Merry Stitchmas by the Royal Castle stage on our first day and second day at the park, but the show had to be cancelled both times for bad weather. But on our last day the sun was out and the show went on! It was so worth the wait!

Mickey and the gang try to teach Stitch the meaning of Christmas, so you can expect funny misunderstandings. The songs were great, the surprises were fun and it was probably one of the best Disney shows I’ve seen! Some of the greatest parts was Stitch coming out dressed as Elvis, the Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride song and hearing Minnie Mouse sing Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas!

After the show, we made our way to the dreamy Disneyland Hotel for our table reservation and the Inventions buffet restaurant. We had to put some extra euros towards this meal with our 'plus' vouchers as Inventions counted as a 'premium' resturant. The food here was incredible though, including Lobster, langoustines, muscles and so much more! What made this meal even more exciting was that we had a view of the Sleeping Beauty castle annnnd we were joined by Mickey Mouse and friends! It was great to interact with the characters on a more personal level. We also got to meet lots of characters we might not have had time for in the park.

After lunch we explored parts of the stunning Disneyland Hotel.and got up close to the incredible gingerbread house and Christmas tree in the foyer.

We then returned back to the Disneyland Park to go to the Royal Princess Pavilion in Fantasyland to meet Rapunzel! The waiting times for the princesses can be quite long so we knew we had to put a bit of time aside to meet one. We had done everything we wanted to in the park so didn’t mind so much! She was so lovely to meet and chat to.

After we were done meeting Rapunzel, we had a little bit of time to explore the shops for a last minute bit of shopping. Sadly we then had to say goodbye to Disneyland Paris so we took one more beautiful look of Main St and the castle and made our way back to Paris to board the Eurostar at 9pm.

We had such a wonderful time and Disney certainly delivered all the festive magic we desired! There were some shows we didn’t manage to find time for, but who knows? We might be able to sneak in another little trip in the new year!

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about my latest Disney trip and I’ll be uploading my Disney haul very soon! My vlogs will hopefully also be up this week too!

See you tomorrow for my next blog post! Renabelle xxx
