Disneyland Paris Christmas 2017 | Blogmas Day 13
Bonjour! I travelled to Disneyland Paris on Sunday with my boyfriend and we had a very magical, Christmassy few days! The resort’s enchanting, festive décor and atmosphere did not fail to impress!
We arrived in Paris on the Eurostar about 1pm and took the RER A train to the Disney resort. Similar to our trip in September we took advantage of the Disney luggage express and had our suitcases sent to the Sequoia Lodge hotel so we could head straight into the park.
Our first land of the day was Frontierland! We grabbed some lunch from the Tex-Mex style quick service restaurant, Fuente Del Oro.
I had a taco bread salad bowl and churros. The salad was pretty basic, consisting of lettuce, beans, sweetcorn, tomatoes, carrot and peppers. It also came with some salsa. David offered me some of his rice, which made it taste so much better. It would have also been good to have some guacamole, sour cream.
We also had an awesome puppeteer outside with a Coco's Miguel!
The Pueblo Trading Post Shop is normally only open on weekends at certain hours. It sells new and limited edition pins, vinylmations and other fun collectibles. There is also the ability to swap with a pin trader too. We were unable to check it out on our last trip in September so this was first on our list to check out!
Whilst wondering around the back of Frontierland, I found an opportunity for a fun pic infront of Olaf and Sven!
We then wandered through the castle into Fantasyland to ride on the Snow White and Pinnocchio dark rides.
It’s a Small World decided to take on a Christmassy theme and sung Christmas songs inside!
After having dinner at the Bella Notte restaurant we then headed back to Main St USA to see Mickey and Minnie light the Christmas tree with Santa! It was so magical and fun whilst singing Christmas songs with fake snow falling down on us.
On the weekends the park is open until 10pm so we decided to head back to Frontierland to ride on Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor! They seemed a lot more fun at night, especially Big Thunder Mountain, it felt faster and much more exhilarating.
The Illuminations fireworks display at the castle also had an extra Christmas-themed show which was soooo cute! The castle looked so beautiful at night-time too.
Our first day in the park was spectacular and so much fun. We were exhausted by the end of the night though and so glad to get back to our hotel room!
I’ll be sharing all about Day Two of my Disneyland Paris Christmas adventure in just a few days time!
